D e s c r i p t i o n
This is an Earthworks Journals one of a kind (OOAK) leather journal. We've made this A5 leather journal in a similar style to our regular tooled journals, but we've used a different tooling technique for the design. The hedgerow leaves design is carved deeply into the surface to create an image that contrasts with the hand dyed leather. We did not work from a set design with this one, the leaves were tooled freehand to give a more immediate feel
With its versatile size it's a great journal to either keep at home or carry with you, so it's perfect as a gardening diary or nature notebook.

It holds approximately 250 pages (500 sides) of A5 sized, unlined paper.
We bind the pages by hand using a strong waxed cord. No glue is used, so the spine of the book cannot be broken, our binding is strong and permanent.
P a p e r
Our paper is 100% recycled and is a natural, off-white, oatmeal colour. It has a matt appearance and a slight texture. It takes most fountain pens without 'bleeding' and has a weight of 80gsm.
It is acid-free archival quality, which is great if you're planning on leaving your words for future generations!

We can personalise this journal for you by printing a name, initials, date, inscription, or any other text that you can think of on the first paper page inside, this is free of charge.
