D e s c r i p t i o n
This is the Earthworks Journals A4 brown leather journal with our Skull and Crossbones design hand tooled onto the cover. It is bound in a single thick piece of vegetable tanned leather and has a beautiful, antiqued brown finish which picks out the design and natural markings in the full-grain leather; this makes each book unique. The covers are held closed by two tie cords finished with leather beads.
With its large size it's great for those of you with a lot to write about. It makes a great personal journal, grimoire or ship's log.
We originally made our replaceable page books for storing finished work but many of our customers love the flexibility of being able to remove and replace the pages and use them as everyday journals or notebooks.

This journal has our Skull and Crossbones design on the cover. This one's for those of you that are not afraid of your own mortality or that secretly harbour dreams of becoming a pirate.

Approximately 230 pages (460 sides) of A4 sized, unlined, recycled, paper.
This is a binder style book which has the benefit of having removable pages. The paper can be replaced easily with any A4 pre-punched paper, it is held in place by a cord that fastens at the back of the book.
P a p e r
Our paper is 100% recycled and is a natural, off-white, oatmeal colour with faint flecks. It has a matt appearance and a slight texture. It takes most fountain pens without 'bleeding' and has a weight of 80gsm.
It is acid-free archival quality, which is great if you're planning on leaving your words for future generations!

We can add up to five letters (name or initials) to the back cover and this is free of charge; just contact us when placing your order to let us know what you would like.
