Bound in a single thick piece of vegetable tanned leather this journal has one of our hand dyed Ash leaf designs on the cover. We batch dye these using real Ash leaves which means that yours may look a little different to the one in the photo. The stylised veins are hand carved. We leave the inside of the cover as natural undyed leather. The covers are held closed by two cords finished with leather beads.
It's ideal for use as a handy mini-journal or pocket notebook. Perfect as a 3rd wedding anniversary gift (leather), nature diary or pocket grimoire.

The pages in this book are hand bound using a strong waxed cord. No glue is used, so the spine of the book cannot be broken, our binding is strong and permanent.

Our paper is 100% recycled and is a natural, off-white, oatmeal colour. It has a matt appearance and a slight texture. It takes most fountain pens without 'bleeding' and has a weight of 80gsm.
It is acid-free archival quality, which is great if you're planning on leaving your words for future generations!
