D e s c r i p t i o n
We make this A5 leather journal from a characterful piece of full grain leather which has beautiful natural marks and scars. It has been dyed and overdyed with a variety of colours which gives a warm orange brown undertone with mottled dark brown and olive green patination.
The design is an intertwined Celtic / Viking Dragon and Serpent. Although this design originates in Celtic Ireland it shows elements of the older Urnes style Viking designs.
With its versatile size it's a great journal to either keep at home or carry with you, so it's perfect as an everyday journal or as a Grimoire / Book of Shadows.

It holds approximately 250 pages (500 sides) of A5 sized, unlined paper.
We bind the pages by hand using a strong waxed cord. No glue is used, so the spine of the book cannot be broken, our binding is strong and permanent.
P a p e r
Our paper is 100% recycled and is a natural, off-white, oatmeal colour. It has a matt appearance and a slight texture. It takes most fountain pens without 'bleeding' and has a weight of 80gsm.
It is acid-free archival quality, which is great if you're planning on leaving your words for future generations!
